Yatin Khandelwal: The Journey Behind P.S COMPUTER EDUCATION
From a small beginning in Gurugram to a bigger vision for practical computer education.
Introduction: Every Journey Has a Beginning
My name is Yatin Khandelwal, and I am the Founder and Director of P.S COMPUTER EDUCATION, a computer training institute based in Gurugram, Haryana.
My journey is not a story of overnight success. It is a story of starting with limited resources, learning through challenges, taking responsibility at an early stage of life, and continuing to work towards a bigger vision.
I started P.S COMPUTER EDUCATION on 11 March 2023 with a simple belief: practical computer education can help students build confidence, develop useful skills, and prepare for better opportunities.
What began as a small initiative became an important part of my life, teaching me lessons about education, entrepreneurship, discipline, patience, and the value of continuous improvement.
My Educational Background
My educational journey began in Gurugram, Haryana, where I studied at Sucheta Memorial School. I completed my Class 10 in 2020 and Class 12 in Commerce in 2022.
Alongside my academic journey, I developed an interest in computers and practical digital skills. I pursued computer education and completed an ADCA diploma, which helped strengthen my understanding of computer applications and the value of skill-based learning.
I later completed my Bachelor of Commerce from DPG ITM College in 2025.
My education helped me understand an important point: theoretical knowledge is valuable, but students also need opportunities to practise, solve problems, and apply what they learn in real situations.
This belief gradually became a foundation for the way I wanted to build my institute.
The Beginning of P.S COMPUTER EDUCATION
On 11 March 2023, I took a major step by starting P.S COMPUTER EDUCATION in Gurugram.
I did not begin with a large laboratory or substantial financial resources. I started with my personal laptop, a few basic furniture items, and the determination to build an educational institution of my own.
Starting a business requires more than an idea. There are expenses, responsibilities, decisions, and uncertainties that must be handled. Arranging money for rent, furniture, electricity, registrations, and marketing was part of the challenge.
I had to think about how to manage limited resources, attract students, provide useful training, and keep the institute running while learning the practical realities of business.
There was no guarantee that everything would work out. I had to take one step at a time, make decisions, learn from mistakes, and continue improving.
Challenges, Doubts, and Lessons
Like many young entrepreneurs, I faced doubts and uncertainty in the early stages.
There were expectations around choosing a conventional career path, and building an institute of my own was not the easiest or most predictable option. Even people close to me were uncertain about how many students a new computer institute could attract.
I remember that there were doubts about whether the institute would be able to attract more than a handful of students. Rather than treating those doubts as the end of the journey, I used the experience as a reason to keep working and improving.
Balancing education and entrepreneurship also demanded effort. I had to manage academic responsibilities alongside the day-to-day work of running the institute. The experience involved difficult decisions, sacrifices, and lessons that could not be learned from textbooks alone.
These challenges taught me that entrepreneurship is not only about ambition. It is also about taking responsibility, managing resources carefully, accepting uncertainty, and remaining willing to learn.
I do not see every difficulty as a success story in itself. Instead, I see these experiences as lessons that continue to shape how I work and what I want to build.
Building an Institute Around Practical Learning
For me, P.S COMPUTER EDUCATION was never meant to be only a place where students complete a course and receive a certificate.
I wanted students to understand what they were learning, practise regularly, and develop skills they could use in their studies, work, and everyday lives.
Our courses cover areas such as computer fundamentals, MS Office, Advanced Excel, Tally Prime with GST, accounting, graphic design, web development, and other computer-related skills.
My focus is on making learning understandable, practical, and relevant. Students have different backgrounds, goals, and learning speeds, so guidance and consistent practice matter.
I believe that computer education should help students become more confident in using technology—not simply memorise software features.
Growing Beyond the Classroom
Building P.S COMPUTER EDUCATION has also encouraged me to think about how students and families discover educational opportunities.
In 2025, our official website and Android application became part of our digital presence. These developments represented steps towards making information about the institute available through online platforms.
Digital presence is not the final destination. It is one way to communicate with learners, share information, and make an institute more accessible.
I continue to learn about marketing, student support, educational technology, team management, and the systems required to run an institution responsibly.
Each new challenge brings another opportunity to improve the way we work.
My Philosophy as a Founder
I believe that a person's starting point does not have to determine their future. Access to useful skills, consistent effort, practical experience, and the right guidance can help people move towards new opportunities.
I also believe that an educational institution must earn trust through its work. Claims should be honest, learning should have real value, and students should understand both the opportunities and the effort required to develop their skills.
For me, success is not defined only by the size of a classroom or the number of courses offered. It also depends on the quality of learning, the confidence students develop, the trust families place in the institute, and the willingness to keep improving.
These are the principles I want P.S COMPUTER EDUCATION to continue building on.
The Vision Ahead
My long-term vision is to develop P.S COMPUTER EDUCATION into a trusted computer education brand that can reach more learners across India and, eventually, beyond.
I want to help make practical computer education more accessible, strengthen the learning experience, and create an environment where students can develop digital skills relevant to their academic and professional goals.
Building a larger education network is an ambition, not a completed achievement. It will require consistent work, responsible growth, quality standards, and a team that shares the same purpose.
I know there is still much to learn and much to build. My journey as an entrepreneur is ongoing, and I want to approach the future with the same willingness to learn that helped me begin.
A Journey Still in Progress
Looking back at the beginning of P.S COMPUTER EDUCATION reminds me that meaningful work does not always start with ideal circumstances. Sometimes, it starts with the resources available, a clear purpose, and the willingness to take the first step.
My journey has taught me that progress takes patience, learning, and persistence. There will always be new challenges, new responsibilities, and new things to understand.
I am grateful for the experiences that have shaped this journey and remain committed to building an institution that helps students learn practical skills and move forward with confidence.
A small beginning. A continuous learning journey. A vision to make a bigger difference.
